The USS Whitfield County LST 1169 Will be holding our next reunion in conjuction with the LST Squadron 9 reunion being held in San Diego, CA Oct. 10-14, 2012.

Individual ship activities will be scheduled including our business meeting, Times and dates of these will come out next year as our reunion nears. Please contact the following with any questions or if you know of a shipmate not on our roster or of a shipmate in distress.

1000 Welcome and registration and check in at the Hospitality Room at Town and Country Hotel

1200 Snacks will be provided during the day.  Dinner on your own by ship or as a group

2200 Hospitality Room Closed

Reunion Day 2, Thursday, October 11, 2012

0700- 0900 Breakfast on your own

0900 Board bus for Ships tour, USS Midway.  Wives, optional shopping at Seaport Village

1300 Lunch during Harbor Tour.with TBD

1500 Bus return to the hotel and afternoon is free time for all hands or individual ship plans

1500 Hospitality Room Open

1300-1800 Free time for ship activities

1800 Dinner per ships plan

2200 Hospitality Room Closed

Reunion Day 3, Friday, October 12, 2012

0700-0900 Breakfast on your own

0900  Board bus for Naval Amphibious Base Tour and Memorial Service at Vietnam Memorial

1100- 1230 Base tour, Specwar boats etc

1230-1330 Lunch at Base mess hall

1400 - Board bus to return to hotel

1400 -1700 Free time, individual ship activities or group tour

1800- 2000 All hands banquet at Town and Country,  Speaker is TBD (Bob S will work on these items)

2000 Hospitality Room opens

2200 Hospitality Room closes

Reunion Day 4, Saturday, October 13, 2012

0700-0900 Breakfast on your own

0900 Board bus for MCAS Miramar to attend Fleet Week Air show (David B will attend this years show to check out the environment, food availability, length etc. )

Xxxx Return to hotel, dinner on your own or by ship

0600-1000 Checkout and depart for home
